HOW THE OBJECTIVES WERE ACHIEVED

The Awards have received tremendous support from women who have shown interest to nominate men whom they have identified as gender activists in their environment.

We have partnered with close to 60 institutions and individuals from around Africa who are supporting the initiative with the campaign for nomination in their countries.

CAMPAIGN INNOVATIONS

We believe that the women empowerment agenda will not happen in isolation, but needs concerted efforts from government, corporate and civil society.

Being the majority at decision-making platforms, men could be instrumental should a sustainable and credible platform be provided for them to engage with women.

We believe LWA Champions - Men will prove to be a valuable discussion platform at national and regional levels.

CAMPAIGN IMPACT

The Awards have received praise, from many - ranging from head of states to male gender activists.
