In last year a number of free-thinkers, bloggers and writers was killed in Bangladesh and that trend was a matter of concern last for freedom of expression in Bangladesh. Besides, progressive politicians, intellectuals and journalists received death threats. Based on this situation Participatory Research Action Network- PRAN will arrange a Colloquium with where a good number of youths, journalist, free-thinkers, bloggers, academia, development activists and writers will present. Firstly, an informal meeting for the exchange of views will be organized, where scholars or other experts share and discuss a specific topic with stakeholders. Later, a youth group will organize a colorful bicycle rally in the city to sensitize the peoples towards a pluralistic society where civic space and responsive governance are ensured.
